The International Day of Peace, observed annually on September 21st, was established by a United Nations resolution in 1981. The International Day of Peace is an opportunity to join with people around the world exploring and celebrating our capacity for goodness, cooperation, and the creative potential of the human spirit in constructing a peaceful and sustainable future.

The International Day of Peace Education Resource Packet is a practical guide to learn about and participate in the International Day of Peace.
